Last night I went to a Florentine vs Genoa soccer game. It was such a cool experience. Although, I really had no idea what was going on because all of the Italians were singing random songs and saying things I had no idea what they were saying. That's okay though.
This is a picture of the stadium. It is not anything like the stadiums we have at home. It is quite small.
This is Emily and I completely bundled up because it was so cold. And by that I mean I think it was 49 degrees. The typical day here lately has been around 55 and sunny. Guess I can't complain!
Today I have only one class from 2pm-6pm (Italian Time). Then it is home to pack up my bags for my trip to Palermo tomorrow. I am leaving around 7:30am to catch the train to Pisa, and then a shuttle from Pisa train station to the airport. Our plane leaves at 11:05. It should only take about an hour in the air I believe. Then we have to figure out how we are getting from the airport to the bed and breakfast that we are staying at.
I am bringing my netbook so I can try and skype with whomever is available over the weekend. I am not sure that I will be getting free internet since it was a cheap place to stay. I am more interested in touring the city and photographing everything. I am sure I will have about 1000 photos when I return Sunday evening.
If Sunday I am not too tired, I will try and blog. If not it will be Monday or Tuesday. I promise it will be soon so that you can all see the photographs and hear about any stories!!
